Engine Brands

We service these engine manufacturers regardless of the truck they're installed in.

Factory-Level Diagnostics for Every Brand

Every commercial truck brand has its own engine management system, diagnostic protocol, and common failure patterns. Generic scan tools read basic fault codes but miss manufacturer-specific data streams, active tests, and reset procedures that are essential for accurate diagnosis. Albert's Road Service carries factory-level diagnostic software for every major platform — the same tools used by dealer service departments.

For Freightliner and Western Star trucks equipped with Detroit Diesel engines, we use Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL) to access DD13, DD15, and DD16 engine data. This includes aftertreatment system monitoring, injector balance rate analysis, and forced DPF regeneration capability. For older Series 60 engines, we maintain legacy software compatibility.

Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks with PACCAR MX-13 and MX-11 engines are diagnosed with PACCAR Davie4, which provides full ECM access including parameter programming, aftertreatment diagnostics, and turbo actuator calibration. We also support the older CAT-based platforms still running in many fleets.

Volvo trucks use the proprietary VCADS/PTT (Premium Tech Tool) diagnostic system. We access all Volvo D11 and D13 engine data, I-Shift transmission parameters, and aftertreatment controls. Volvo's integrated approach requires platform-specific tools — generic scanners can't perform I-Shift clutch teach procedures or aftertreatment resets.

International trucks with A26 and N13 engines require Navistar ServiceMaxx for full diagnostics. We access engine, aftertreatment, and body controller data on LT, RH, HV, and MV series trucks. For legacy MaxxForce engines, we maintain the diagnostic capability to address common EGR and aftertreatment issues.

Cummins engines across all truck brands — X15, ISX, ISL, ISB, and B6.7 — are diagnosed with Cummins INSITE. This covers Cummins-powered Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, and Mack trucks. INSITE provides injector trim code programming, ECM calibration updates, and comprehensive aftertreatment diagnostics.

For medium-duty applications, we service Hino (J08 and A09 engines), Isuzu (4HK1 and 6HK1), and Ford commercial trucks (F-650, F-750 with Cummins or Ford Power Stroke). These platforms serve local delivery, utility, and vocational fleets throughout South Florida.

Frequently Asked Questions

What truck brands do you service?
We service all major truck brands including Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, International, Mack, Western Star, Hino, Isuzu, and Ford. We also work on Cummins, Detroit Diesel, PACCAR, and Caterpillar engines regardless of the truck they're installed in.
Do you carry parts for all these brands?
We stock common parts, filters, sensors, belts, and aftertreatment components for all major brands. For less common parts, we can typically source them same-day from our local suppliers. Most repairs are completed in a single visit.
Do you have factory diagnostic tools?
Yes. We carry factory-level diagnostic software including Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL), Cummins INSITE, PACCAR Davie4, and more. This allows us to perform the same diagnostics as dealership service departments — right at your location.
Can you work on older truck models?
Absolutely. We service trucks from current model year all the way back to legacy platforms. Whether you're running a brand-new Cascadia or a 2005 Columbia with a Series 60, we have the tools and experience to get it fixed.
What if my truck brand isn't listed here?
If you don't see your specific brand or engine listed, call us at 561-475-8052. Our technicians have broad diesel experience and can likely help regardless of the make or model.
